Allowed uploads
Upload only flags you own, that are in the public domain or that you have permission or an appropriate licence to publish. Respect copyright and rules about official symbols.
Do not upload sexual content, personal information, unauthorised images of others, unlawful material or files intended to harm the service.
Publication permission
Submitting an image requests moderation and, if accepted, public display with the selected place. You grant free, non-exclusive permission to store, resize, convert and display it within this project while published. This includes making share cards and distributing the contribution through the site’s sharing tools to introduce the flag and the project. You retain your rights.
This permission does not transfer ownership or grant visitors a general reuse licence. Other uses require an appropriate legal basis or authorisation.
Moderation and reports
Automated moderation may accept or reject an image and can make mistakes. The project may remove inappropriate, duplicate, incorrect or infringing contributions. Neither the place selection nor the flag has official status.
Email [email protected] with the contribution reference or place and an explanation to request review, correction or removal. Never publish identity documents or personal data on the map.
